Join us at the Belfast Mela, the city’s annual celebration of global cultures when tens of thousands of visitors pack Botanic Gardens to celebrate our people and diversity.

The Mela transforms the park into an exotic magic garden filled with the sights, sounds and aromas of nations right around the world. Music, dance, arts and culture come together to create a heady, good humoured atmosphere which invites the world into the heart of our city.

Drumming up support for the Belfast Mela which takes place on the August Bank Holiday weekend on Sunday 27th August in the beautiful grounds of Belfast’s Botanic Gardens is Carolyn Stewart of U105 who will host Northern Ireland’s largest and most colourful celebration of cultural diversity.
