Keeping cultural heritage alive through song
Rosinka is a local choir formed in 2014 and includes 15 core members from different Russian speaking countries living in Northern Ireland. They perform a-cappella songs in Russian, Ukrainian, English, Belorussian, folk and classical under the musical direction of local Bulgarian professional musician Veselka Ivanova.
Their aim is to represent the culture and heritage of the Russian speaking countries to the local communities and save it for our children. We perform at all major Russian speaking events - Festival of Russian Culture in Dublin (2014 and 2016), Russian Fair in Belfast 2015; also cross community events - "4 choirs together in a concert" with Accolade and Open Arts Choir in 2015, Bangor Choral Festival (runner-up in the category Folk Choirs).
